We have a job vacancy. The purpose of the job is to manage the operation of The Guild Arts Incubation programme, which is part of the RAIN (Regional Arts Incubation Network) project, funded by the European Regional Development Fund and Arts Council England.
The purpose of the project is to identify, recruit, and support a number of aspiring creative and cultural entrepreneurs to develop entirely new businesses. These businesses will use the resources of The Guild as a workspace, as well as receiving business incubation, training and mentoring support. Four other regional hubs will operate on a similar basis, and the hubs will work closely together to provide overall peer support for participants, and to identify strengths within the network which match specific participant needs.
You will be supporting the residencies to be creative, innovate, experiment and create new businesses, jobs and social impact.
Each month we like to take a look at what's coming up - events, changes to the Guild and feature them on our very own Newsround. We couldn't do this without the help and support of Close Range Films and KvsK
Last Wednesday evening Tom and I were delighted to be invited to Demuth’s vegetarian cookery school for an evening learning about and cooking tapas. Rachel Demuth was very kind and invited us down to experience the cookery school for ourselves. We were really interested to find out what the school was all about.
