The month of June saw us heading over to Bristol to check out VentureFest to see the start up village celebrating the best of tech in Bath & Bristol, before heading back to Bath to join in with Team Guildians of The Galaxy at the annual Bath Boules event!
It has often been said that coworking spaces survive on the strength and quality of their coffee, to get the stamp of approval from our members we invited our filter coffee suppliers Dusty Ape to give an afternoon talk to our members (we provided the cake, they provided the coffee)
The weekend of Nov 1 - Nov 2 saw approx. 40 people give up their entire weekends to come together to hack and code Bath's open data. Not just for developers, the hack welcomed people of all backgrounds - some with no coding experience at all.

On Friday 25th April Danny Alexander, Chief Secretary to the Treasury came to visit Bath. The Guild had been chosen as the location for Danny to meet local businesses and see what innovative, entrepreneurial ventures were taking place in the city.
